PUSSY LIBERTY, the play

Pussy Liberty is a single act play in which Blaire, an early twenty-something, struggles with and overcomes the pain of a past trauma.  This redemption narrative is intertwined with Blaire's relationship with her best friend, Halle, and Halle's boyfriend, George. Halle's relationship, defined by passé gender roles, creates a parallel narrative in which Halle also struggles and achieves spiritual liberty.

When She's Diverse won the emerging company award in 2017 it was with the play Pussy Liberty. This was a complete passion project and with the help and support from people I love and complete strangers we were able to bring it to life.

It was a really short and hectic process; putting the entire thing together in just under 8 weeks.
